Elementary Coffee

Subject: Elementary Coffee Co.
Location: Harrisburg, PA
WiFi?: yes
Rating: 6+ [see key]

I remember the first time I drove past the Pennsylvania Capitol building and was struck with its keystone majesty. As far as capitols go, it's one of the better state structures I've visited, not only because of its impressive architecture but also due to the surrounding city, including multiple coffee shops of great worth.

One of such coffee shop adding majesty to Harrisburg is Elementary Coffee Company. Located in a cozy cafe with large front windows, Elementary boasts a colorful interior with various seating options within and outside.

As for coffee, I ordered an espresso of their Elementary Espresso blend and a drip of a single origin Colombian. The espresso, pulled short/medium with brown crema, smacked of chocolate, cherry, black tea, pomegranate and graham cracker, proving sweet and firm. The drip also made for an excellent infusion, with bright notes of strawberry, chocolate-covered cherries, basil, Sprite and cream cheese.

While I could not stay long, I did enjoy my brief visit to Elementary. If you happen to be in town or nearby, stop by for coffee and a little local majesty.
