Buzzsaw Coffee

If you look at life in America one hundred years ago, one thing that really stands out is the industrial landscape. Factories and mills used to populate the landscape, much like our current strip malls. But now, it seems that only the ruins and bones of these past edifices remain.

Fortunately, rebirth brings new opportunity, and old warehouses get a second chance with new ventures such as Buzzsaw Coffee. Located in the Pajama Factory in Williamsport, Buzzsaw's green doors open into a gorgeous lunch counter with plenty of open space and lots of seating.

As for coffee, I went with an espresso of their Saint Francis blend and a drip coffee of a single origin Ethiopian Sidama. The espresso, pulled short/medium with dark brown crema, smacked of chocolate, cherry soda, vanilla, croissant and nutmeg, proving sweet and delectable. The drip coffee also proved fantastic, with vibrant notes of lemon cake, almond, peaches, milk chocolate, corn bread and apple.

Fortunately, I've been able to stop at Buzzsaw a few times since this visit and can attest the coffee has continued to be delightful. The next time you're in Williamsport or passing through, make sure to visit Buzzsaw Coffee.
