I have been to Vancouver once before, but my first visit was very much a small foray. After many years, I finally was able to allot some time to give the city a proper tour and boy have I been missing out. From the city's water taxis to it's very alluring neighborhoods, the city truly lived up to its vibrant reputation.

If one wants to find a multi-roaster shop close to the steamclock in Gastown, head to a great establishment called Revolver. Situated in a cozy space with plenty of seating, this shop possibly had the most roaster options of any shop I have visited in recent years.

As for my coffee that day, I went with an espresso of a Guatemala single origin from Subtext in Toronto and a drip infusion of a Colombian from Cuppers Choice. The espresso, pulled short with brown crema, smacked of chocolate, lime soda, cream, cascara and a little cilantro, proving borth bright and sweet. The drip coffee also proved delectable, with vibrant notes of cherry cola, apples, whole milk, raspberry and chocolate nubs.

After polishing off my beverages, I headed down for a look at the steam clock and then off to see more Vancouver. If you're in the area of Gastown or you're looking for a great multi-roaster shop, head over to Revolver.
