Rarely do I find myself in the northern portions of New Hampshire but when I do, I greatly delight in visiting its woods, mountain vistas, and its bucolic towns occasionally sporting a good coffee shop.

Sleeping in North Conway, I found myself at Frontside Coffee Roasters one beautiful morning. Their cafe is hemmed in by a gate, with a cozy patio off to one side. Inside, the shop is beautifully arrayed with pleasant lighting, stunning decor and plenty of natural light.

As for coffee, I went with an espresso of their Spro Blend and a drip coffee of their Frontside blend. The espresso, pulled short/medium with brown crema, smacked of chocolate, lemon, sweet corn, cherry brioche and radicchio, proving sweet and balanced. 

After enjoying my coffee, I was off to the NH natural wonders for a beautiful day of hiking. If you happen to be near North Conway, definitely stop by Frontside Coffee for some great coffee.
