Dose Coffee and Tea

Subject: Dose Coffee and Tea

For all of Nashville's sprawl, the area offers a healthy array of things to do across the city. One site I recently was able to visit was Nashville's Parthenon by Vanderbilt. Sadly time was not on my side and this Greek replica only got a fraction of its deserved time, as there was not enough minutes in the day to accommodate a full helping of classical architecture and still have ample time for a coffee stop.

For that morning's coffee aspirations, I had my sights set on Dose Coffee and Tea. Located in a ho-hum strip mall, I got myself a decent parking spot and skipped on in. The interior imparted a light and airy aura, with light woods, white walls and a baby blue counter making it easy on the eyes. The seating was varied, with wall bars for laptoppers, a communal table in the center and some small tables to the back.

As for the coffee, it was a Cuvee Coffee kinda day, as I ordered their El Salvador El Molina for my espresso and the Guatemala San Jose Ocana via their Curtis pourover station. The espresso, pulled short with brown crema, sang of ginger, smoked brisket, chocolate, basil and black licorice, making for a smooth and succulent infusion. The pourover rang sweetly and smoothly of honey, caramel, apple turnover, slight tomato and crispy biscuit crust.

Another gem in Nashville's tiara, I was quite sated with my stop at Dose Coffee and Tea. If you seek a great coffee rendezvous, especially if you're near Vanderbilt or the Parthenon, step on over to Dose.

These wonderful folks made this visit possible in part. Make sure to check them out!

This seems like a local attraction. I love coffee and this place looks inviting. If I ever stumble upon this place, I will have to stop in an enjoy a cup of Joe.

I am so into coffee and learning new thngs about it. Now I want to share little discoveries I have once in a while...Like this one I tried in Melboune with friends. So affordable and the taste is really good! If you are in the area, it is a must-try https://www.facebook.com/68degreesCoffeeShop?fref=ts

Cool! I don't know anyone who doesn't love coffee at all And I must agree with some here. I have tried and been to that 68 Degrees coffee shop in Australia, it really is by far really awesome and they have dinner trade! :)

  9. Nice to see this here, I visited my friends place at the groove apartments, he knew that I love sipping coffee every morning so planned to take me to a café named dose which was near to his place. When I reached there the place was nice, the environment looked calm and friendly; the perfect I ever wanted to have. I ordered one veggie bagel and a cup of joe. The coffee was hot and flavorful. It was its aroma lingering all around me which was making me to sip it again and again. Although veggie bagel was also good, but I can just remember the taste of coffee till now. I wish, if could plan again to my friend's place just to grab again the same hot cup of Joe from the dose café.
