Broadsheet Coffee Roasters

No visit to Boston is complete without a stop in Cambridge. While the parking can be difficult and the sidewalks overflowing with a mix of tourists and students, it's definitely a section of the country that offers much in so compact an area.

While I am a perpetual tourist, the main reason for my most recent visit was to finally try out Broadsheet Coffee Roasters. Located behind Harvard Yard amidst a strip of local shops, Broadsheet beckoned unto me with large front windows showcasing a beautiful cafe. Inside, the shop has a copious amount of seating full of bustling patrons.

As for coffee, I settled upon an espresso of their Headliner blend and a filtered infusion of an Ethiopian Kochere. The espresso, pulled short/medium with brown crema, tasted of chocolate, caramel, lemon, raspberry, apple and a little buttermilk, proving sweet bright and delicious. The Ethiopian drip coffee proved similarly fruity, with notes of strawberry, sugar cookie, baby bib, grape, hibiscus and roses in a floral light body.

Truly pleased with my visit, I reluctantly parted ways with this fantastic establishment until my next time in Cambridge. Whether you are a local or a coffee lover passing through, definitely give Broadsheet a try.

These wonderful folks made this visit possible in part. Make sure to check them out!
