Revelstoke Coffee

While I have driven around the perimeter of New Hampshire quite a bit, I never had an occasion to traverse it until recently. The state is beautiful and while any number of stops could have been interesting, I am a sucker for capital cities and made my way over to Concord. But before seeing the sights, I first made my way to a local coffeeshop called Revelstoke Coffee.

The shop is located across the street from the State House on the beautiful avenue that is North Main Street. They have a beautiful stone exterior with giant front windows, extending inside with exposed brick, high ceilings and plenty of light.

As for the coffee, Revelstoke roasts their own. The day of my visit, I settled upon an espresso of their Road Trip blend and a single origin Ethiopian via drip. The espresso, pulled short/medium with brown crema, smacked of chocolate, raspberry, passion fruit, lemon zest, biscuit and a little spinach, proving bright and delightful. The drip coffee also made for fireworks, with notes of blueberry, pineapple, caramel, Italian bread, cream cheese and a little dill.

After polishing off my drinks, I set off on foot to explore the surrounding area and found the town to have been worth the stop. If you seek good coffee in the area around Concord, definitely head over to Revelstoke Coffee.
