It always brings me joy when a quality-driven shop opens up in a beautiful space that had been abandoned by a long-closed predecessor. Such was the case with Rally, a multifaceted coffee-based institution that offers services ranging from aid with your business ventures to catering and space for private events.

Looking only for coffee, I made my way over to the cafe one sunny afternoon for a little refreshment and light relaxation. The interior is decorated cleanly, with a calm, cream interior complimented by pleasant lighting and sunshine. The tables were all occupied by a mix of folks on laptops and patrons having chipper discourse over drinks.

Regarding their coffee, I found a lovely line-up of Lancaster's Passenger Coffee. I ordered an espresso of their Stowaway and a a filtered brew of their Keystone blend. The espresso, pulled short/medium with brown crema, smacked of milk chocolate, caramel, ginger, corn, romaine and a little hibiscus making for a sweet and balanced infusion. The Keystone also delivered a delightful, fruity concoction full of whipped cream, raspberry, sesame seed and grape juice in a light/medium body.

Quite pleased with the coffee, I spent some time drinking in the experience before having to meander on. Whether you seek professional help with your business, a venue to rent or just some great coffee, stop by Rally soon.

These wonderful folks made this visit possible in part. Make sure to check them out!
