Condesa Coffee

Subject: Condesa Coffee
Location Visted: Old Fourth Ward, Atlanta, GA
WiFi?: yes
Rating: 6+ [see key]

For as much as I love the crisp air of winter and snow-covered mountain peaks, I definitely more enjoy sitting outside in a tshirt while sipping on a great cup of coffee. The warmth of Atlanta provides plenty of days for such activity, and coffeehouses like Condesa's O4W (Old Fourth Ward) location have tremendous patios for their agoraphilic patrons like myself.

Yet even in the event of inclement weather, Condesa makes for a great place to grab coffee. Not only does the interior offer large glass windows to drink in the sun and rain alike, the space provides a well-lit, minimalistic aesthetic with plenty of tables for their patrons.

For coffee, Condesa keeps the "C" alliteration alive by using Counter Culture Coffee. The day of my visit, I ordered an espresso of Hologram and a pourover of a Burundian coffee. The espresso, pulled short with brown crema, rocked out notes of chocolate, pecan pie, lime, Surge soda, hibiscus and a little steak, all together making for a syrupy, bright infusion. The pourover also performed eloquently, bequeathing a smooth mixture of blueberry, spinach, chocolate, celery, tomato and green tea.

Putting it simply, Condesa made for a wonderful experience in every way (though I specifically favored the coffee and patio the most). If you happen to be in the O4W or near their newer, downtown location, definitely swing in for a great coffee experience.

These wonderful folks made this visit possible in part. Make sure to check them out!
